2. No Crisis Support
This website is not intended for emergency or crisis intervention. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You may also contact the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988.
3. No Client-Therapist Relationship
Engaging with this website, including submitting contact forms or sending emails, does not establish a therapeutic relationship with any provider at Blum Integrative Psychotherapy. A therapeutic relationship is only established after mutual agreement, completion of the intake process, and signed consent forms.
4. Privacy and HIPAA
We are committed to maintaining the privacy of your personal health information in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable laws. However, please note that communications through this website, including contact forms or unencrypted email, may not be secure. For confidential communication, please use our secure client portal or call our office directly.
5. Telehealth and State Licensing
Blum Integrative Psychotherapy offers telehealth services, which are only provided to clients located in states where our clinicians are licensed. Please confirm your location and clinician availability before scheduling an appointment.
6. No Guarantee of Results
Therapy is a collaborative process, and outcomes can vary based on individual circumstances and participation. While we are committed to providing high-quality care, Blum Integrative Psychotherapy makes no guarantees regarding outcomes or results from services provided.
7. Fees and Insurance
All fees, session rates, and accepted insurance plans are subject to change. It is your responsibility to confirm coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and eligibility prior to beginning treatment. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
8. Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that explains the expected cost of your mental health care. Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers must provide self-pay and uninsured clients with an estimate of expected charges before services are scheduled.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the charges.
